Q. Isn’t “mentalism” [mind-reading] something that’s of interest only to “brain-iacs”? How entertaining can a topic like this be?

A. Mind-reading appeals to young and old, rich and poor because it can be very funny! Simon mines his entertainment audiences for laughs. It’s priceless to catch people on-stage (audience members who volunteer to “star”) laughing and blushing as Simon catches them fibbing. And learning about the power of your own mind to manifest your destiny is worth the price of admission all by itself.

Q. You’re not going to belittle or insult audience members who “star” on-stage with you or look on, are you?

A. Never! I’ve just returned from living in Japan for 12 years. As you probably know, Asian cultures honor the “face-saving” ethic. Insulting or belittling Japanese audiences would go over like a lead balloon; I would have gone broke as a corporate entertainer, trainer, or speaker by behaving badly there. I carried the same ethic home to Brisbane: No audience member should ever feel minimized, belittled or disrespected while in my presence. I know this is of huge concern with other comedy performers, and rightly so. I’m glad you asked!

Q. What do you charge for your entertainment and training services?

A. Naturally, prices vary by service and by the depth and breadth of what’s required. It will depend on audience size, length of performance, whether a corporation or association wants me to customize a performance or training, and other factors. It’s best to share your vision and your budget with me; given your parameters, I can determine whether I can fulfill your vision at the price you want.  But here’s a rock-bottom rule of thumb: All of my services and performances start at $500.

Q.         Can you offer multiple performances in the one day?

A.          Yes!

Q.         Can you work a trade show booth to gather crowds and/or promote my company’s products or services?

A.          Yes!
